New Foundry feature which is in preview is really looking good and below are some changes that I have used and tested .
First we can easily convert the classic agents to the new format .
A separate Foundry tool catalog – Access the Foundry tool catalog (preview) with a public tool catalog and your own private catalogs, connecting over 1,400 tools in Microsoft Foundry.
Can also use MCP servers through these tools Microsoft and non-Microsoft .
Memory Function :-
Use memory to help your agent retain and recall contextual information across interactions. Memory maintains continuity, adapts to user needs, and delivers tailored experiences without requiring repeated input.
Knowledge Sources
knowledge sources have now Foundry IQ options as well data sources via tools , so essentially you can connect your agent to a Foundry IQ knowledge base to ground responses in enterprise or web content.
